The Township of Brock launched today Let’s Talk Brock, a new and exciting on-line public engagement platform for Brock residents.
It is a complete suite of listening, information, analysis, reporting and relationship management features that will allow the Township to match the right online tools with our specific community engagement objectives. Specifically, the interactive platform provides project information, including team members, background details, documents, key dates and opportunities for public input.
“Let’s Talk Brock will allow residents to interact with the Township on special projects that require or will benefit from public input,” explains Deputy Mayor Ted Smith.
“Brock wants to encourage all residents to get informed, ask questions and talk to us about important initiatives.”
The site went live today with the first two projects.
Cannabis Consultation – the Township is in the final stages of creating a Zoning By-law and Official Plan Amendment to control Cannabis as a land use. On this site you can access all of the project information and connect with the project team to ask questions. You can also get a sneak peak at the presentation that will be given at the Statutory Public Meeting on March 15, 2021 when the draft Zoning By-law and Official Plan Amendment will be presented. Check out the link and lets us know if you think the draft by-law for Cannabis will do a good job controlling Cannabis as a land use in Brock.
Hometown Pride Photo Contest – the Township wants to see what makes you proud to call Brock your home. From February 19, 2021 to June 28, 2021, upload any photo that you have taken that represents “hometown pride.” Submissions will be evaluated and six prizes awarded to the top photos in two categories. Have fun getting out and enjoying Brock Township as you participate in this photo contest.
