
Two men from Oakwood were charged after allegedly using an ax to break open a door at a property in the former Ops Township.
According to the Kawartha Lakes Police Service, officers were called to a property on Highway 35 South around 12:45 a.m. on Monday (Feb. 22) as the two men attempted to gain entry.
Colin Harwood, 44, and Chance Labrie, 22, have been charged with possession of weapon for dangerous purpose and mischief under $5,000.
They are scheduled to appear in Lindsay court on April 22.
