A 29-year-old man has been rushed to hospital following a serious stabbing in Whitby.

According to the DRPS, the incident occurred shortly before 10:30 a.m.

The man was taken to a hospital in Ajax before being rushed to a Toronto trauma centre for treatment of serious but non-life threatening injuries.

“There are no suspect descriptors at this time,” reads a social media post from police.

“It is believed that the stabbing took place at a residence on Halls Road North in north Whitby.”
