A 68-year-old man has been airlifted following a single-vehicle collision in Ramara Township Thursday (Feb. 4).

According to the OPP, Fairgrounds Road, east of Brooks Road, will be closed for several hours for an investigation.

The driver and lone occupant of the vehicle has been taken to a Toronto-area trauma centre with serious injuries.

Multiple reports on social media state that the vehicle struck a rock cut lining the road.
