
A Coboconk man is facing charges after allegedly being found passed out behind the wheel in Lindsay.
According to the Kawartha Lakes Police Service, officers were called to a gas station on Lindsay Street South around 11:20 p.m. Sunday (Jan. 31).
“It was reported that a male was passed out behind the wheel of a running vehicle, in the parking lot,” reads a media release.
“Officers attended the location and while speaking with the driver observed signs of impairment and drug use.”
Liam Chynoweth, 32, has been charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle – alcohol and drugs and possession of a controlled substance.
He is scheduled to appear in Lindsay court on April 1.
