Environment Canada has issued a weather travel advisory for much of the area Tuesday (Jan. 26).

Total snowfall amounts of five to 10 cms are expected this afternoon into the evening.

“Snow covered roadways and reduced visibility may make travel difficult,” the advisory for York-Durham reads.
