Durham Regional Police conducted a RIDE stop in Beaverton on Thursday (Dec. 17).
While results from the RIDE stop are not yet available, police took to Twitter to highlight the stop and thank those who are keeping the roads safe this holiday season.
As part of the Festive RIDE campaign, DRPS have been releasing details from the program weekly for the past four weeks.
“After four weeks, the Festive RIDE team has charged a total of 36 motorists for drinking/drug driving offences,” reads a DRPS media release.
