Two people are facing charges after a vehicle was reportedly stolen from a driveway in Lindsay.
According to the Kawartha Lakes Police Service, officers were called to a home on Cambridge Street South around 10:45 a.m. Wednesday (Dec. 16).
“The complainant reported they stopped at home briefly and went inside leaving the vehicle running and unlocked. When they came out a few minutes later the vehicle was gone,” reads a media release.
“Police conducted an investigation and arrested two parties later in the day for the theft and recovered the vehicle.”
Kathleen Laffan, 34, of Lindsay has been charged with possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000, breach undertaking, possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000, possession of a Schedule I substance – methamphetamine and five counts of breach probation. She was held for a bail hearing.
Corrado Zagarella, 35, of Scarborough was arrested and charged with breach undertaking, possession of property obtained by crime Under $5,000 and three counts of breach probation. He was held for a bail hearing.
