
A Sunderland motorist has been charged with stunt driving after allegedly being clocked by police travelling 70 km/h faster than the posted speed limit.
According to a social media post from the DRPS, an officer spotted the 31-year-old driver – whose name has not been released – near Boundary Rd and Regional Rd 57 in Clarington.
“He was caught on radar driving 150 km/hr in a posted 80 km/hr zone. He faces stunt driving and speeding charges,” the post reads, noting that the man’s licence has been suspended for seven days and the vehicle has been impounded.
