An online fundraiser is collecting donations for the family of a Brock Township farmer and father of three that was killed in accident last month.
Scott Brown, 42, suffered fatal injuries while working in a corn drying silo at his family’s farm on Nov. 18.
He leaves behind a wife, Amanda, and three daughters – Sarah, Heidi and Lauren.
The ONLINE CAMPAIGN has raised more than $3,800 thus far.
“We have set up this go fund me page with the hope of bringing some much needed support and financial assistance to the family as they navigate through the coming days, weeks and months,” reads a post accompanying the fundraiser.
“With Christmas coming there will also be an added burden on them.”
A memorial parade for Brown was held on Nov. 28. The procession of vehicles – estimated at more than 350 – stretched for kilometres, filling concession roads as it made its way to D. S. & B. Farms Inc.
