One man is dead and another has sustained life-threatening injuries following a shooting in Oshawa Sunday (Nov. 29) morning.

While few details have been released, a social media post from the DRPS notes that the incident occured on Simcoe Street in the downtown core and that roads in the area are closed.

The injured man is en route to a trauma centre for treatment.
