
Two people have been charged after police allegedly uncovered cocaine, Fentanyl and a sawed-off shotgun during a search of a Beaverton home.
According to the York Regional Police, a search warrant was executed – in conjunction with the DRPS – at a home on Maple Beach Road on Thursday.
Officers reportedly seized 793 grams of cocaine, 28 grams of Fentanyl, a sawed-off 12-gauge shotgun and Canadian currency.
Brock Township residents Jeremy Haight, 39, and Kara Ann Shea, 32, have each been charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking – cocaine; possession for the purpose of trafficking – Fentanyl; unauthorized possession of a firearm; possession of a prohibited firearm with ammunition; possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose; and possession of proceeds of crime.
