The agricultural community is getting ready to honour a Brock Township farmer that was killed in an accident last week.
Scott Brown, 42, suffered fatal injuries while working in a corn drying silo at his family’s farm on last Wednesday (Nov. 18).
He leaves behind a wife, Amanda, and three daughters – Sarah, Heidi and Lauren.
“Scott was — and is – well loved and respected for his kindness, thoughtfulness, intelligence, easy banter and quiet ways,” reads his obituary.
“He will be greatly missed by his large family and many friends and most of all Amanda, Sarah, Heidi and Lauren. We are very grateful for all the love and support we have received during this difficult time.”
A drive-by memorial parade has been organized for Saturday (Nov. 28) at 10:30 a.m. Those wishing to take part are asked to gather on Concession 14 Brock between Simcoe Street and Highway 12.
