Woodville man charged with impaired driving following traffic complaint

A Woodville man has been charged with impaired driving after police in Kawartha Lakes responded to a traffic complaint.

According to the OPP, officers received a report related to a potentially impaired driver travelling on Highway 35 Monday (Nov. 23).

“A short time after receiving the complaint, an officer from the City of Kawartha Lakes detachment of the OPP located the vehicle on Highway 35 near Powles Road and initiated a traffic stop,” reads a media release.

Patrick MacIsaac, 30, has been charged operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs and have care or control of vehicle with cannabis readily available.

He is scheduled to appear in Lindsay court on Jan. 28.

“The vehicle was towed from the scene to be impounded for seven days,” the media release reads.
