A Brock Township teenager is dead following a collision on Simcoe Street, near Woodville, Sunday (Nov. 22) afternoon.

According to the OPP, emergency personnel were called to the two-vehicle collision, north of Woodville Road, shortly before 3:30 p.m.

“Initial investigation indicated that a northbound vehicle lost control and entered into the southbound lane where it was struck by a southbound vehicle,” reads a media release.

Police say the driver of the northbound vehicle was transported to an area hospital with serious injuries before being taken to a Toronto area hospital with serious injuries.

A passenger in the vehicle, 18-year-old Richard ‘RJ’ Harris of Brock Township, has died.
