Police are investigating a homicide in Orillia following the death of a 34-year-old man Thursday (Nov. 19) night.

According to the OPP, a resident located the man with serious injuries on Coldwater Road, near Emily Street, shortly before 8:30 p.m.

Officers and paramedics responded to find the man suffering from “serious trauma.”

He was taken to hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

The man’s name has not been released.

“Police believe that no elevated public safety concerns exist at this time,” reads a media release.
