Police investigating shooting in Uxbridge

Police are investigating following a shooting in Uxbridge early Wednesday (Nov. 18) morning.

According to the DRPS, officers were called around 3 a.m. after an injured 23-year-old man showed up at someone’s front door in the area of Regional Road 8 and Concession 4.

“The victim was shot and sustained a non-life threatening injury. He was taken by air ambulance to a Toronto trauma centre,” reads a media release.

“There is no suspect or vehicle descriptors at this time and investigators are looking for the public’s help with any information regarding this shooting. If you have surveillance video in this area, please contact our investigators.”
