Police continue to investigate the threat made towards the Port Perry High School Monday (Nov. 9).
According to the DRPS, school officials received emails of a threat towards the school around 3:20 p.m.
“Although there were no students in the school at the time, staff members were evacuated and the school was checked by officers,” reads a media release.
“The school was deemed safe and there was no evidence located of any threat.”
The nearby R.H. Cornish Public School was placed on a hold and secure for roughly an hour.
“The investigation is ongoing and police would like to speak to anyone who has any information on this matter to call them,” media release reads.
