
Another case of COVID-19 has been reported in Brock Township.
According to the update from the Durham Region Health Department Monday (Nov. 9), the person involved in the most recent case – one of two active cases in the municipality – is in home isolation.
Overall, there have been 3,347 confirmed cases in Durham – 993 in Ajax, 926 in Pickering, 555 in Oshawa, 470 in Whitby, 232 in Clarington, 121 in Uxbridge, 26 in Scugog and 20 in Brock Township.
A total of 238 residents are in home isolation, with 12 currently hospitalized.
A total of 182 deaths – including 153 at long-term care and retirement homes – have been attributed to COVID-19.
A total of 2,941 cases have been resolved, which represents 88 per cent of the total.
