Two Lindsay residents have been charged following a drug investigation.
According to the Kawartha Lakes Police Service, officers conducted an investigation into the sale of controlled substances in the area of Cheesefactory Road and Heights Road, east of Lindsay, on Thursday (Nov. 5).
Around 11:15 a.m., officers arrested two people in connection with the investigation and reportedly seized 41 grams of cocaine, 33 grams of blue Fentanyl, $11,500 in cash and a Taser.
Philip Warner Anderson, 33, of Lindsay has been charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking, possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000 and failing to comply with his recognizance of bail.
Tammylynn Fae Penney, 25, of Lindsay has been charged with failing to comply with the conditions of her recognizance of bail.
She is scheduled to appear in Lindsay court on Jan. 14, 2021.
