A Bracebridge man is facing numerous charges after allegedly stunt driving and failing to stop for police on Highway 12 in Brock.
According to the DRPS, an officer was heading south on the highway Tuesday (Nov. 3) when he observed a motor vehicle travelling north at a high rate of speed.
“He attempted to conduct a traffic stop, however, the vehicle did not stop. The officer began to follow the vehicle and observed it swerving across the roadway, all while travelling at a high rate of speed,” reads a media release.
“As the officer continued to follow the vehicle, it came to a sudden stop and the officer arrested the male.”
Colby Jordan , 26, has been charged with dangerous operation; fail to stop for police; stunt driving; careless driving; drive motor vehicle with liquor readily available and drive motor vehicle while suspended.
He was released on an undertaking and his vehicle was seized.
