A winter clothing program is firing up across Brock Township this week.

Now in its sixth year, the Warm Tootsies campaign aims to collect an array of winter clothing for children – coats and jackets from size three to 13, as well as hats, toques, gloves, mittens, scarves, boots and socks.

In addition to donations from area residents, this year’s campaign has been bolstered with donations from 100 Woman Who Care Brock Township, the Sunderland Lions Club, The Nourish and Develop Foundation and Leon’s.

Distribution dates are scheduled for the Sunderland Legion (Oct. 19), the Cannington Lions Club (Oct. 20) and RE/Max Country Lakes Realty in Beaverton (Oct. 21). All run from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
