A senior from Fenelon Falls has been charged with impaired driving after he allegedly hit parked vehicles and nearly struck a pedestrian.
According to the OPP, multiple reports were received on Saturday (Oct. 17) were received related to a vehicle being operated by a suspected impaired driver.
Police say the initial investigation indicated that the driver had stuck three vehicles, two of which were unoccupied, on Francis Street West.
Giampiero Baldini, 75, has been charged with operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs, operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus) and fail to remain.
He is scheduled to appear in Lindsay court on Dec. 3.
