
An Omemee man has been charged with impaired driving after being stopped at a roadside checkpoint.
According to the OPP, officers established a RIDE check on Ski Hill Road Tuesday afternoon around 4 p.m. when the man’s vehicle was stopped.
“An officer approached a vehicle and initiated an investigation that indicated that the driver had been consuming alcohol,” a media release reads.
Paul Heydon, 44, has been charged with operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus).
He is scheduled to appear in Lindsay court on Dec. 10.
