An Oro-Medonte man has been charged with manslaughter in relation to a sudden death in Orillia more than a year ago.
According to the OPP, a 24-year-old man was discovered outside of his home on Fittons Road West without vital signs around 6 a.m. on Sept. 5, 2019.
The unidentified man was pronounced dead in hospital.
Police say an subsequent investigation into the man’s death was related to drugs.
Carson Gannon, 19, has been charged with manslaughter and traffic in a Schedule I substance – methamphetamines.
He is slated to appear in Orillia court on Oct. 27.
