The annual Smile Cookie fundraising campaign is firing up at Tim Hortons across the country.
Sales at the Beaverton franchise will once again support the Sick and Injured Animal Fund of Brock Township. Last year, the local campaign generated $6,500.
“Every year, Tim Hortons guests and restaurant owners across the country rally together behind the weeklong Smile Cookie campaign,” reads a media release.
“The annual campaign sees 100 per cent of proceeds from each Smile Cookie — a chocolate chunk cookie topped with pink and blue icing drawing out a smile — donated to local charities.”
Smile Cookies will be available from Sept. 14 to 20.
