Two have been charged and a third suspect is being sought after three men allegedly forced their way into a Lindsay home and attacked an occupant.
According to the Kawartha Lakes Police Service, officers were called to a residence on Lindsay Street North shortly after 5 p.m. Sunday (Sept. 6).
“The victim, who was known to the three assailants, suffered a stab wound to his upper body before the suspects fled from the home,” reads a media release.
The victim was taken to hospital by paramedics and treated for a non-life-threatening injury, police say.
Two suspects were arrested Wednesday (Sept. 9).
Tyler DaSilva, 30, and Todd Brown, 38, both of Lindsay have each been charged with break and enter, assault with a weapon and possession of a weapons dangerous.
A third suspect from the attack, who has also been identified by investigators, is currently being sought.
