Help kids bundle up for winter through Warm Tootsies campaign

With winter just around the corner, the Warm Tootsies campaign is firing back up in Brock.

Now in its sixth year, the campaign aims to collect an array of winter clothing for local children – coats and jackets from size three to 13, as well as hats, toques, gloves, mittens, scarves, boots and socks.

Donations will be accepted until Oct. 9 and can be dropped off at Country Loonies or Doggity Do in Sunderland, The Nourish Community Hub in Cannington and Smallmart in Beaverton.

The items collected will be distributed to families throughout the township in October.

Dates are scheduled for the Sunderland Legion (Oct. 19), the Cannington Lions Club (Oct. 20) and RE/Max Country Lakes Realty in Beaverton (Oct. 21). All run from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
