Police say “several deceased victims” were found in a home on Parklane Avenue in Oshawa after officers responded to reports of shots fired.

While few details have been released, Durham Regional Police say the scene is contained and officers are not looking for any suspects.

“There are no safety concerns at this time,” reads a social media post from police, in part.

As of 6 a.m. Friday (Sept. 4), the forensic investigation team had arrived to assist the major crime homicide unit with processing the scene.

The initial information regarding the incident was shared by police just after 2:30 a.m., although it is unclear when the shooting occurred.
