OPP investigating incident involving firearm in Ramara Township

Police are searching for two suspects after a gun was allegedly pointed at a teenager in Ramara Township.

According to the OPP, officers were called around 7 p.m. Thursday (Sept. 3) regarding an incident that happened on or near Airport Road and Fish Side Road.

A 17-year-old boy was walking on Airport Road when he was reportedly accosted by the two male suspects, who exited a trail near Fish Side Road.

“One of the males was carrying a firearm and pointed it at the victim. No robbery was reported, however, it is a very concerning situation,” reads a media release from police.

“The OPP Tactics and Rescue Unit, Canine and Emergency Response Unit were called in to assist in locating the suspects. The search did not yield any results.”

The first suspect is described as a Caucasian male, between the ages of 18 to 25, with light brown/reddish hair. He is approximately 5’10” in height, with a skinny and was wearing khaki pants, red tank top with the number 23 on it.

The second suspects is described as an olive skinned male, between the ages of 18 to 25, with long black hair. He is pproximately 5’10” in height and was wearing blue jeans and a black long-sleeve shirt.
