Police searching for truck stolen from business on Highway 35

Police are searching for a truck that was stolen from a business on Highway 35 south of Lindsay Wednesday (Sept. 2).

According to the Kawartha Lakes Police Service, a black 2015 GMC Sierra was taken from a parking lot around 9 a.m. after a male suspect was seen entering the vehicle.

He is described as white, with light or blonde hair, and between the ages of 20 to 40. At the time of the theft, he was wearing jeans, a white t-shirt and a dark backpack.

The Kawartha Lakes Police Service is investigating the theft of a Black 2015 GMC Sierra pick-up truck, that was stolen from a parking lot on Highway 35 South on September 2.

“The truck was last observed travelling north on Highway 35, and then west on Highway 7,” reads a media release.

The stolen pick-up truck has black cap on the back and Ontario license plate 8335MA.
