Two teens taken to hospital with serious injuries after head-on collision on trail

Two teens were rushed to hospital with serious injuries after two dirt bikes reportedly collided on a trail in the Ganaraska Forest in Clarington over the weekend.

According to the DRPS, officers were flagged down by paramedics around 3:15 p.m. Saturday (Aug. 15) following the head-on collision, which occured near Boundary Road and Cold Springs Camp Road.

A 14-year-old from Toronto was airlifted with multiple serious injuries, while a 19-year-old from Cobourg was taken to Lakeridge Health in Bowmanville for treatment.
