A Brock Township man has been charged in connection to a shooting that occured in Beaverton earlier this summer.
According to the DRPS, officers were called to a residence near Concession 4 Thorah and Highway 12 after receiving reports that a man had been shot. When officers arrived, they found a man with serious injuries from a gunshot wound.
The victim, a 42-year-old man from Brock Township, was taken to a Toronto-area trauma centre via air ambulance with serious but non-life threatening injuries.
A suspect was arrested in Toronto Thursday (Aug. 6) in Toronto, police say.
Kaydon Massicotte, 19, of Concession 4 Thorah has been charged with aggravated assault and several firearms offences.
He was held for a bail hearing.
