Man charged with impaired operation after allegedly being found asleep in driver’s seat

A Kawartha Lakes man has been charged after allegedly being found asleep in the driver’s seat of a motor vehicle.

According to the OPP, officers responded to a call from a citizen expressing concern for a person who appeared to be asleep in a vehicle parked on River Road in the Janetville area on Tuesday (Aug. 4).

Timothy Anderson, 52, has been charged with operation while impaired – blood alcohol (80 plus).

 He is scheduled to appear in Lindsay court on Sept. 17.
