A 27-year-old woman from Courtice suffered critical injuries in a collision in Clarington Sunday (July 26).
According to the DRPS, officers were called to the collision – which occurred on Bowmanville Avenue at Concession Road 6 in Clarington and involved a motorcycle and a Chevrolet Equinox – shortly before 4:30 p.m.
The driver of the motorcycle was transported to a Toronto trauma centre, where she remains in critical condition.
“The driver of the other involved motor vehicle, a 60-year-old Bowmanville female, was not injured,” reads a press release.
Roads in the area were closed for several hours for the police investigation.
