Three arrested following alleged disturbance at Fenelon Falls park

Three people are facing charges following an alleged disturbance at Garnet Graham Park in Fenelon Falls over the weekend.

According to the OPP, officers were called to the park around 8:30 p.m. Friday (July 17) after multiple people indicated that an altercation was occurring.

“The ensuing investigation resulted in the seizure of substances suspected to be Fentanyl, cocaine and cannabis, as well as a large sum of Canadian currency,” reads a media release.

Charlotte Davis, 22, has been charged with unauthorized possession of a weapon, possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – cocaine, possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – opioid (other than heroin) and possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime, over $5,000.

She is scheduled to appear in Lindsay court on Nov. 5.

Stephen Jackson, 29, has been charged with unauthorized possession of a weapon, possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – cocaine, possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – opioid (other than heroin), possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime, over $5,000 and failure to comply with release order – other than to attend court.

He was held in custody pending a bail hearing.

Randy Laughlin, 32, has been charged with unauthorized possession of a weapon, possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – cocaine, possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – opioid (other than heroin), possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime, over $5,000, three counts of fail to comply with probation order and possession of firearm or ammunition contrary to prohibition order.

He was also held in custody pending a bail hearing.
