A 35-year-old woman from Goodwood suffered serious injuries after being thrown from her motorcycle in a single-vehicle collision in Uxbridge Sunday (June 21).
According to the DRPS, the motorcyclist was eastbound on Uxbridge Concession Road 3 – east of York/Durham Townline – around noon when she lost control of her motorcycle and struck the guardrail.
“She was thrown from her black Kawasaki motorcycle and suffered serious injuries,” reads a media release.
Police say the woman was transported to a Toronto trauma center by air ambulance for serious but non-life threatening injuries.
The road was closed for several hours for a police investigation.
