The Township of Brock would like to provide the following update in its response to COVID-19.
The Township has been working to put plans in place to open additional amenities for our residents to enjoy. Effective Friday ( June 19) at 12:01 a.m. all Township of Brock boat launches and trails will be open. A full listing of the status of all amenities is noted below.
In addition, the Township of Brock will be opening more amenities at the Beaverton Harbour, including the splashpad, picnic shelter, and beach for Brock Residents and Property Owners only, tentatively as of Monday, July 6, 2020.
Residents are encouraged to go online and apply for their pass to access the Beaverton Harbour in advance of July 6th. Please note individuals who have a valid 2020 Township of Brock parking permit do not need to apply for a pass.
In addition, the Township would like to remind residents to do their part in helping to continue to flatten the spread of COVID-19 by maintaining a distance of at least two metres (six feet) between themselves and any person living outside their household.
The Township continues to review updates from the Provincial government and information from the Durham Region Health Department to assess their local impact, as well as time to develop and implement plans to safely reopen amenities.
