Celebrate Canada Day in Brock Township

Canada Day will look a little different this year as we are not able to gather for our annual celebrations due to the COVID-19 pandemic restrictions.

The Township of Brock is hosting a virtual Canada Day event and has created a number of activities to get you and your family involved. Let’s spread some Canadian Spirit across Brock Township!

Stay at Home Kits
The Township of Brock with support from the local Lions Clubs will be offering “Stay at Home Kits” which are FREE activity bags, to keep your family entertained on Canada Day.  Kits are available only for residents of Brock Township. Limit of one kit per family. Kits will be available from a safe, physically distanced pickup on June 30th at each of the arenas. Quantities are limited, so don’t delay, and register for your kit!

Region Wide Event
On July 1, 2020 Canada Day celebrations go virtual in Durham Region!
Residents are invited to join an uplifting, virtual celebration of our amazing community by tuning into Canada Day the Durham Way on July 1.
From 2 to 5 p.m., this collaborative event – in co-operation with the Region of Durham and all eight local-area municipalities – will highlight unique attractions and talents that drive our vibrant arts and culture scene. This event celebrates our region and our one-of-a-kind mix of small-town hospitality and unique urban amenities.
Durham Region is a community more vibrant and diverse than just about any place in Ontario.
This event will highlight why our quality of life is second to none – a celebration of our multicultural landscape and cultures; exciting performers; one-of-a-kind children’s activities; and musical talent.
Come together as a community, while practicing physical distancing, by tuning in to this first-of-its-kind, virtual Canada Day celebration, which will be available through Facebook Live.
