A Ramara Township man has been charged with impaired driving following a single-vehicle collision.
According to the OPP, officers responded to the collision where the vehicle went into the ditch on the side of Ramara Road 47 around 10 a.m. Friday (June 12).
“The investigating officer quickly realized the driver of the vehicle was impaired by drug. After failing a test with a Drug Recognition Evaluator, the driver was taken to a nearby hospital for a blood test,” reads a media release.
Scott Jolly, 33, has been charged with operation while impaired – drug.
He was released on an undertaking and is slated to appear in Orillia court on Sept. 15.
