Two people have been charged following a police investigation into the sale of controlled substances out of a Lindsay home.
According to the Kawartha Lakes Police Service, officers executed a warrant at a residence on Highway 35 South in Lindsay on Thursday (June 11).
“A search of the home reportedly resulted in the seizure of seven grams of heroin, 110 grams of cocaine and $7,800 in cash,” a media release reads.
Charles Edward Quibell, 53, and Chelsea Lynn Gawley, 22, have each been charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking and possession of proceeds of crime over $5,000.
They were held in custody pending a bail hearing.
