Charges laid after neighbour dispute in Fenelon Falls

A Fenelon Falls resident faces charges after police were called to a neighbour dispute late last week.

On Friday (May 29), officers from the City of Kawartha Lakes detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) attended a residence on Raby Street in Fenelon Falls in relation to a neighbour dispute.

Investigation indicated that one involved party allegedly struck another with a vehicle. The victim sustained minor injuries, according to police.

Donna Sluman, 56, who police say was driving the vehicle, was arrested and charged with dangerous operation and assault with a weapon.

The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Lindsay on Aug. 13.
