A Lindsay man has been charged with impaired driving after officers responded to a marine complaint Wednesday (May 27).
According to the OPP, officers attended the Thurstonia area in response to a Sea-doo being driven in a dangerous manner around 7 p.m.
“The officers were not able to locate the Sea-doo but, through investigation, did determine a potential destination and subsequently attended the boat launch on St. Paul Street in Lindsay,” reads a media release.
“The Sea-doo was observed on a trailer of a vehicle leaving the boat launch area. The vehicle was stopped and the ensuing investigation resulted in the arrest of the driver.”
Joshua Pidgeon, 30, has been charged with operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus).
He is scheduled to appear in Lindsay court on Aug. 6.
