Man charged with impaired driving, dangerous operation following collision in Ramara

An Oro-Medonte man has been charged with impaired driving and dangerous operation following a collision in Ramara Township Friday (May 22) night.

According to the OPP, officers were called to two-vehicle collision — which occured on Ramara Road 46 and County Road 169 — shortly after 10 p.m.

“One driver was transported to hospital with minor injuries. While at the scene, officers began an impaired driving investigation and subsequently arrested the other involved driver,” reads a media release.

Braydon Parsons, 20, has been charged with operation while impaired – alcohol, operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 Plus) and dangerous operation.

He is scheduled to appear in Orillia court on July 28.
