Two hikers that got lost in a provincial park were rescued by the OPP on Thursday (May 21).
According to the OPP, the hikers called 911 and indicated that they were lost in Queen Elizabeth II Wildlands Provincial Park.
“Members of the OPP’s Emergency Response Team attended the scene on all-terrain vehicles and the OPP’s helicopter was deployed to the area,” reads a media release.
“The helicopter located the hikers and was able to extract and transport them to a safe location in the Sebright area, with both hikers in good health.”
