
A fourth confirmed case of COVID-19 has been reported in Brock Township.
That information was included in an update from the Durham Region Health Department Monday (May 18) afternoon, which also notes that the previous three cases have been resolved.
Overall, there have been 1,266 confirmed cases in Durham – 461 in Pickering, 330 in Ajax, 207 in Oshawa, 121 in Whitby, 78 in Clarington, 52 in Uxbridge, 13 in Scugog and the four in Brock Township.
A total of 151 residents are in home isolation, with 35 currently hospitalized.
A total of 162 deaths – including 137 at long-term care and retirement homes – have been attributed to COVID-19.
A total of 918 cases have been resolved, which represents 73 per cent of the total.
