An online fundraiser has been launched for the family of a Georgina man that was killed in a collision in North Kawartha Township last week.

Shane Simkins-Mather, 33, was one of two people that died following collision between a a car and tractor trailer on Highway 28 around 9:45 a.m. on May 7.

A post accompanying the FUNDRAISER notes that Simkins-Mather has two sons.

More than $2,350 has been generated thus far.

The other victim was 34-year-old Travis Richardson of Eastern Passage, Nova Scotia.

The driver of the tractor trailer was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries.
