
Three people have been charged after police allegedly seized $10,000 worth of Fentanyl following a traffic stop in Lindsay.
According to police, officers stopped the vehicle on Lindsay Street North around 11:30 p.m. Monday (May 11) as part of investigation into drug trafficking.
“The three occupants of the vehicle were arrested for being in possession of a controlled substance,” reads a media release.
“A search of the vehicle and its occupants resulted in the seizure of 29 grams of Fentanyl, worth an estimated street value of $10,000.”
Katherine Rebecca Howard, 24, of Lindsay has been charged with possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking and failing to comply with the conditions of her recognizance.
Tyler Dasilva, 30, of Lindsay has been charged with possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking.
David Joseph Corbeil, 60, of Lindsay has been charged with possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking.
All three are slated to appear in Lindsay court on July 16.
