Nominations are now open for the 2020 Harold Lodwick Citizenship Award, which is designed to recognize a volunteer’s contribution to the community.
It’s named after the former municipal councillor and tireless community champion who died in May 2008.
Those looking to nominate someone for the award are asked to send a brief description of the nominee, including their volunteer and community accomplishments, to the Beaverton Special Events Committee at P.O. Box 125, Beaverton Ontario, L0K 1A0. The deadline for entries is June 1.

The winner will be announced in July and will receive a financial endowment to donate to the charity of their choice.
