Man found dead in Frenchman’s Bay has been identified

Investigators have identified the man that was found dead in Frenchman’s Bay in Pickering on Sunday (May 3).

According to the DRPS, a member of the community contacted investigators after recognizing the key fob and the unknown male has been identified as a 74-year-old Pickering resident.

“At this time, there is nothing suspicious about his death, but the investigation is still ongoing,” reads a media release.

“Investigators would like to thank the public and media for their assistance in this matter.”
